My son gave up smoking
with one session of hypnosis, soon
thereafter I broke my
leg, giving me time for reflection.
I read an article in the Woman and Home magazine
about hypnosis, and changing careers, and it just went
on from there.
I trained with the London
College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) gaining first a
Diploma and then a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical
Hypnosis.
The LCCH are
one of the largest
training organisation in the UK, and were
chosen by the NHS to provide Post Graduate
Training for doctors wishing to incorporate
hypnotherapy skills into their conventional
medical treatment.
The LCCH have been involved in
research studies with St Bartholomew’s,
Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals, to name just
a few.
I am a Full Member of the British
Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) which is
a national professional body whose aim is to
promote and assure high standards in the
practice of hypnotherapy.
Registration demands good quality
training, ethical practice and adherence to
a strict code of conduct. I am not allowed
to claim I can cure or help any issue. Needless to say treatment sessions
are carried out in the strictest of
confidence.
The BSCH have practitioners working
all over the world, the newest chapter of
the society is based in Malaysia, serving
Asia.
