I offer a FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION to allow prospective patients to discuss their issues, to enable me to answer any questions they may have about hypnosis, and, if so desired, to allow them to experience a short session of hypnosis.

Trance occurs naturally, there is nothing magical about hypnosis.  Hypnosis is, in fact, really self-hypnosis.  Although the therapist gently leads the patient, it is still the patient who accomplishes the hypnotic trance state. Trance occurs in everyone when certain physiological and psychological conditions are met, when your attention is fixed on one thing, absorbing you to the exclusion of all else.  It can be defined as a heightened state of focused concentration which is highly suggestible.  With the assistance of a skilled hypnotherapist it is possible to use this state to make deep and long lasting previously discussed changes to thoughts, feelings and behaviours.  Interestingly, we all experience waking hypnosis possibly several times a day. 

Hypnosis is a very safe, extremely successful therapeutic tool with no harmful side effects, and is often successful where more conventional treatments have failed.
