The launch party for the book took place in the County Hotel, Brighowgate, Grimsby on 24 November 2008. Graham gave a presentation with a slideshow (very short, to make people curious about the book). Mike Gresham (fundraiser for St Andrew’s Hospice), Grimsby Telegraph columnist Peter Chapman (who had written the foreword for the book) and brewer Phil Ellis (who has recreated a number of Hewitt’s beers in his Louth-based Fulstow brewery) were present. Karl Nielsen, the County’s bar manager had Fulstow Hewitt’s Best Bitter ready in tip-top condition. Thanks to everyone who came as well as Karl Nielsen and Paul Weeks of the County Hotel.

Weekly local paper Cleethorpes Chronicle gave Graham a write-up in the edition of 20 November.
