At Anne Braid Mortgages we appreciate how difficult and time consuming
it can be to find the right mortgage. Your own bank or building society
is often your first port of call but how can you be sure they are
offering the best possible rates available to you to suit your
individual circumstances? It can be daunting approaching new lenders who
you may know little about and who do not know you and all lenders have
different rules on what is acceptable to them and how much they will
lend you.
This is where we can help. We get to know you first by asking all the
questions a lender would ask so you only have to give this information
once. We then search the market, quickly and easily, to find the lender
with the most suitable mortgage for you. We are totally independent so
we work for you not the lenders.
We take time to make sure you understand all aspects of the rate on
offer and if you are then ready to proceed we apply to the lender for
you. We track the application and keep you regularly informed of
progress.
Once the mortgage has been officially offered to you, we then review
your insurance needs. We check the whole of the market for the most
suitable policies from companies that offer good service at a good
price. We apply for these for you too, ready for when your new mortgage
starts.
It’s over to your solicitor at this stage and we still update you on his
or her progress. We can often help, for example, it may be that your
solicitor has told you something you don’t understand. We don’t always
know the legal jargon ourselves but we can sometimes ask the solicitor
to explain things to us so that we may then explain things a little
better to you.
When your new mortgage starts our commitment to you does not end there.
With your permission, we will contact you a few months before your
initial rate comes to an end, to offer you a review of your mortgage. We
will then reassess your circumstances and needs and look at the market
again for the best rate available to you at that time.
We choose not to charge you a fee for our services as we receive payment
from the lender or insurance company. We must give you the option to pay
us a fee instead should you prefer. |
