Software is the most important part of any computer experience and it's important to get good advice so you do not end up spending a lot of money on something you really did not need. Office software is a good example, you can spend hundreds of pounds on the latest office suite and then find you only  write a few letter's a year. There are cheaper alternatives and in a lot of cases free alternatives! The above is true of practically any type of software you can think up.
